How to start blogging on LoriMcKenna.com
I've just joined....Because ?
Well let me start. In March, I saw Lori for the first time opening up for Trisha Yearwood ( in Chicago ) I was the most impatient person there was waiting for Trisha Yeawood. I love Trisha. She's my God of music. I was like very impatient. I didnt even hear anything Lori Was singing. Then she introduced " Drinkin' Problem " It caught my ear. The show went on. I go back home to St Louis. Lori Mckenna is on my mind. Let me just say. I've drove my friends crazy since the show with Lori's music. She is simply amazing ! Now, I got my 10y.o niece also listing. So its cool.

Great show!
Great show in GA! We are looking forward to the next. We are enjoying your CDs in the meantime. My favorite songs keep changing.... I think my favorites at the moment are I'm Not Crazy, Witness to Your Life, If You Ask, and I Know You. Hoping to see the Somerville show while we are in MA on Sept 20th!

Somerville Loves Lori
13 of us from Somerville journeyed north to beautiful Ogunquit, ME. this past weekend to see Lori and Mark perform at Jonathan's Resturant. After a $600 dinner tab we went upstairs and let Lori know we were there. The show was fantastic!. Our table was right in front of the stage. I brought (6) people who had never heard Lori before and they we all amazed. It was an accoustic show( no back up band ), but Mark's phenominal mandolin playing made up for the lack of added guitar and bass.

congratulations
I recently read in PEOPLE you are writing more music. I would have to say you are up there with James Taylor, with your ability to tell a story through music! So please continue to update us on who is buying your songs! If you are going to put them on a CD or sing them at a concert even better!!
If possible I would like your management company contact info for booking purposes.
Witness to your life is another fav....

Great show
Just got home from seeing Lori in Philly, all i can say is awesome! I love Lori's music but it was even better live. She has great stage presence and is fun with the crowd. I loved it...well worth the 2 hour drive to see. I got a cd signed by her which I could not get out of my sons hands until he fell asleep on the car ride home. Thanks for coming to PA Lori we had a great time.

Fireflies
Lori- My husband and I first saw you perform at Boston's First Night about 6 years ago. When we got married in January 2004 we chose "Fireflies" as our wedding song. We now have three little girls (4, 2 and 5 months) and I was so excited to see that you are going to be performing near us this summer. We'll be at your July 25th show in Londonderry, NH. Are you planning to sing "Fireflies"? I hope so- we would LOVE to hear it! Thanks! Megan & Jeff

Sunday 6/22 at Toad
Hey, Lori....I was too shy to go up to you and say hello and shake your hand and ramble on about what a fan I am...but if I'd had the courage, I would have told you that I thank you for getting me up and out of the house on a Sunday, for bringing such excitement to Toad at 4:00 in the afternoon, for knocking us out with your voice and words and stories...and I thank you again for doing my request: Drinkin' Problem. You asked if I would sing the harmonies with you...yes - IN MY DREAMS! Maybe next time...
Love you and hope to see you at the Tupelo next month!
