I was thrilled when Lori's new CD "Unglamorous" came out, but I was somewhat disappionted to find that one of her new songs "Make Every Word Hurt" hadn't found it's way on to the CD. I gave the new CD a quick once over and heard 2 or 3 songs I liked then sort of disregarded the rest of the CD. Last week I listened to the whole CD again and "low and behold" I found 3 more nuggets I had missed.
"Confetti", "Drinking Problem", and the amazing "How To Survive".
I have tickets to see Lori and her band at Passims in Dec. and I can't wait. She's got a great drummer(John?) and I can't wait to hear him play "How To Survive". That song really kicks *#!.
Maybe if enough of us blog about it " Make Every Word Hurt" will make it onto the next CD. Happy Holidays and see you guys at Passims.
