13 of us from Somerville journeyed north to beautiful Ogunquit, ME. this past weekend to see Lori and Mark perform at Jonathan's Resturant. After a $600 dinner tab we went upstairs and let Lori know we were there. The show was fantastic!. Our table was right in front of the stage. I brought (6) people who had never heard Lori before and they we all amazed. It was an accoustic show( no back up band ), but Mark's phenominal mandolin playing made up for the lack of added guitar and bass.
I am so pleased that one of my favorite songs, that didn't make it onto Unglamorous, " Make Every Word Hurt", was played. Hopefully it will be recorded yet. All of the new songs were great also. I know already, I'm going to love the next CD. Can't wait till Lori the Somerville Theater again in Sept.
